We are a 4200 square foot themed indoor playground facility that caters to private birthday parties on the week end and creative play combined with academic programmes during the week.

One of the advantages of visiting ZOOZ is that we are local, therefore bussing children to us will only be a nominal fee to add to our admission.

Included with your visit is an academic programme about wildlife and world habitats.

Tiny Turtlez Room:

A Wild Adventure for children 1-5! Ratio 1:5.
Travel around places you would find in your community all tailored to a child’s size to encourage imaginative play. The live pet store features live small mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish.

Leaping Lizardz Room:

A Wild Adventure for children 5-9! Ratio 1:5
A 30ft. wide jungle themed self contained soft play structure allows every child’s imagination and physical skills to run wild! The innovative equipment encourages all children to participate.

Half Day Programme:

1. Unstructured time to explore the wildlife themed facility.

2. Snack provided to children in the Grub Room. (No food to enter premises, we are a nut aware/peanut free environment!)

3. Structured programme given by a Zoology Staff (includes hands on activities)

4. Time to visit ZOOZ Shop (Students can bring money. Theme related wildlife merchandise can be purchased as a souveneir for visiting ZOOZ. Many items sold are under $1.00!)

5. Time to go! See you later alligator!

Fees:

Admission Half Day: $8.00 (includes programme and snack)
Admission Full Day: $12.00 (includes structured morning programme, snack, lunch, and small group afternoon centres)

Teachers and Volunteer Parents:

The Ratio is 1:5 in order to have adequate supervision throughout the facility. A $2.00 Twoonie for Tigers and other wildlife, is collected and proceeds are donated from ZOOZ to the World Wildlife Fund Charity.

ZOOZ Bag:

$5.00/student. At an additional cost of $5.00/child, each of your students will receive a themed animal loot bag which contains animal related products that reinforce what they have learned. The additional cost can be factored into the total price parents will pay for their child’s field trip experience. Children love receiving gifts! This bag filled with wildlife goodies will allow them to go home and talk about what they experienced on their trip, while using the contents of the bag to remind them of information they learned about wildlife and world habitats! The total cost then becomes $13.00 (Half Day) or $17.00 (Full Day).

Full Day Programme:

1. Unstructured time to explore the wildlife themed facility.

3. Structured programme given by a Zoology Staff (includes hands on activities)

4. Lunch provided in Grub Room.The herd moves into the Grub Room for a slice of pizza and juice!

5. Small Group Centres Time. Children will travel to various centres that are activity based. The areas to visit will encourage discussion about wildlife and world habitats, hands on activites, viewing our live pet store up close to handle animals with a Zoology staff guide, and video on wildlife. Rotating with a small group will give children the opportunity to experience many habitats!

6. Time to visit ZOOZ Shop (Students can bring money. Theme related wildlife merchandise can be purchased as a souveneir for visiting ZOOZ. Many items sold are under $1.00!)

7. Time to go! See you later alligator!

Upon Arrival:

The School Representative will enter ZOOZ to confirm arrival and administrative responsibilities. Children will then be escorted by their teacher and parent volunteers at a ratio of 1:5 into the facility’s Scales, Skins, Furs, and Feathers Cloak Room to remove coats and shoes. Two groups may enter the Cloak Room at a time to minimize congestion. The students’ hands will be stamped upon entering their designated room as means to greeting our guests and knowing how many guests are entering our facility.

Upon Departure:

After teachers, parent volunteers, and children have had the opportunity to visit our ZOOZ shop, two groups at a time may be escorted into the cloak room to get their coats and shoes and board their bus. Teachers will receive a wild package filled with follow up activities they may take with them back to school and complete with their students!
